This is a two part motivational speech that I put together into one story. The World Is Burning is about the solemn tale of COVID and its impact the businesses everywhere. It shares my perspective about how this disease and political battle have both been destroying industries all around us. I have personally watches hundreds of gyms go out of business and it is that solemn reminder of what may come to me. It is that reminder that this fire is still burning our world to ash.
A Hero's Journey is the second part to this story. It is about how it is up to the few who can see light in this darkness. It shares a story about how it is important for even one individual to be a beacon of hope. Having someone push their way through the darkness, helps inspires others to do the same. We need to start taking blame for everything around us and only then can we rise above it all.
One thing I have learned is that live is full of curve balls. There have been many times that I really thought that things couldn't get much worse. Instead what I learned is that the things that seemed horrendous are the ones that made my how it is.
We all have our strengths and weaknesses. Knowing this can help guide you on how to be you. With the never-ending push of marketing on pushing products to make you want to be someone else, we need to understand that no one is better then you.
Everyone has the same 24 hours, the same chances, and the same opportunities. It's those that choose to live their dreams that make them special. You only have one life, make the most of it.
