038: The Skillz of Childhood Development with Michael Evans
Show notes
Meet Mike Evans!
Marine turned Childhood Developer
We talk all about how his company Skillz of Patchogue Website works with and helps children learn essential skills.
With so many parents trying to learn in the ins-and-outs of parenting, Mike helps them by teaching kids key components of growing up from #discipline to #selfconfidence
He does this by combining his karate dojo into a place where kids can learn to express themselves through games and punching of random objects.
To some it might look like complete chaos, but everything they work is focused with a certain skill that the kids needs to work on. This helps teach the kids important life lessons starting from only 2 years of age!
In this episode, we talk about the challenges of #parenting and how parents can work with their kids from home. He explains different ways to think about how your kids respond to discipline and how to help teach your children by making it relative to their age.
If you are a parent, you don't want to miss this episode!
